The location was perfect for us, as we needed to be close to Glasgow Central train station & Yotel is basically across the street. We wouldn't normally choose a modern hotel, as we love the old, traditional style, but this was a pleasant surprise. The staff at check-in were great & it was really quick & easy to grab our key cards & get to our room. The room had cool features, like a bed that slides up into a "couch", LED lighting with color-change options behind the TV & all the room & hotel info on the TV menu. The bathroom had a separate shower & toilet within the bath area & the bathroom mirror had adjustable lighting. The windows had 2 sets of blinds that either allowed filtered light for privacy, darkening, or open-to-the-public ;) Breakfast was on an upper floor, so there were pretty good views of the city. It was buffet-style & had all the usual Scottish breakfast staples. This was adjacent to their bowling alley, which we didn't get to enjoy, but was pretty cool. All in all, a great stay.

We liked how central it was and the bed was pretty comfortable, we used chrome cast on the tv to watch Jaws. We went bowling which was slightly pricey but great fun and Vega has a great atmosphere and lovely staff. Lovely room, very futuristic feel and the smart bed was very comfortable. We ended up bringing pizza back to the hotel instead of going out for dinner because we liked the room so much. When we did go out, the bathroom mirror had a really good light on it so I was able to do my makeup easily. The seperate shower and toilet was a great idea. We were very cosy in the room, the heating was easy to use and fast working. The toiletries provided had a nice smell, I'm thinking of buying them myself. The shower was lovely and hot, I had to turn it down a fair bit!

The YOTEL Glasgow is situated in the heart of the city, just a stone's throw away from Central Station. This was my first stay here and I was extremely impressed by this hotel. Reception staff were so courteous and helpful on arrival. Check-in was hassle free and for the first time in years, I was given a free room upgrade - usually this comes at a price! The room itself was very well appointed with an incredible view of Glasgow's iconic Hielanman's Umbrella. The large double bed was so comfortable too. Great shower in the rather quirky shower room as well. Excellent experience overall - highly recommended!

The location was great, next to the main train station, and plenty of buses.Easy to get around Glasgow. The hotel room was ok, a nice big shelf in the bathroom for laying out clothes or towels etc.The bed moves up and down to give more space when not in use. Big Tv, you can cast Netflix or other subscribed channels to your tv if you are a subscriber, air conditioning, heating, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, lots of mirrors, a safe, both sides of the bed below had room for 1 or 2 suitcases. Shelves and hanging space, hangers. Comfy pillows, clean and soft bedding.

Hotel location was terrific. 2 minute walk from Central Station. Car parking facilities around were plentiful. Tip if using the recommended chain of car parking facilities Q-Park, the code provided by hotel works for all of these (not just Waterloo Street as advertised). The facilities up stairs at Vega are just great!! 10 pin bowling in the city centre....WOW. Bar staff very attentive, food is really good and the look and general vibe of teh place is superb. Use the Disco lift to get there and enjoy the light show :)
